The first album I purchased was Defenders for my birthday July 84. They been my favorite since. I don't 100% agree with the ranking but who ever does? 🤘

WoW she's pretty. Ranking Judas Priest would be hard. I do know my favorite is Stained Class.

Trick or treat soundtrack was one of the best metal albums of the 80's. Still holds up today. The movie was pretty damn good too.

Best Saxon album is DESTINY (1988), and second one is INNOCENCE IS NO EXCUSE (1985)!! All others albums are typical average. I cannot understand why Saxon recorded only these two incredible and amazing albums, and from 1988, I can say that exist for Saxon only down spirals.

Legendary underground band, it's popular among punks and those who love weird mixtures of punk and metal. I wouldn't call it thrash metal at all. The last lp is a typical doom metal (nothing strange there, many crust bands loved to play slow metal too). I intreviewed their ex bassist Tony for my paper zine in around 2007. He was active on my space then and it was easy to chat with him.

ps. I really like their "On Target" and "Bad Bad Girls" albums too, BUT they're soooo different from their debut. Unrecognizably so.

Fastway's debut album is a great classic. I love it. It's one of the very best from the 80s era! All killer, no filler. Eddie Clarke's guitar work is fantastic! The vocals are so damn good, too! 5 STARS
